Very excited to announce that the website update is finally complete. We started with a different designer in October, and after a couple painful month of troubleshooting, decided to scrap everything and go another way in December. The good news is, we’re just about done, and the new design will enable some super cool new features.
This engagement session never made it to the blog, despite being one of my favorites from last year. We cruised around Ballard a little bit, and shot a few in front of the restaurant where they had their first date. I love it when we can incorporate personal touches or history to portrait shoots. After walking around Ballard for a bit, we headed down to Golden Gardens Beach Park for a little sunset portrait session near the water.
A recent one from possibly the coldest, windiest, least outdoor friendly wedding I’ve ever done. Luckily we found some shelter and great light on this stormy day at Golden Gardens. They were both troopers, and the bride even threw on a pair of boots to trudge around the beach in! We quickly returned to the Bathhouse though, as it started raining sideways about 10 minutes into the portraits. Gotta love Seattle in the Winter.
The blog has been a little quiet lately, as we are working hard a new website design and blog at the moment. Should be ready soon!
A few from Kate and Kevin’s engagement portrait session at Golden Gardens. We lucked out and got some beautiful skies, and an empty beach, but then a rainstorm rolled in 30 minutes later. Luckily we got some great images before the rain came. My cameras, lenses and flash got completely soaked. I can happily report they all survived.
