Here are a few wedding pictures at University Presbyterian Church, from Melissa and Chris’ Wedding. The girl’s got ready at the Grand Hyatt Seattle, so we took a few pictures upstairs, and also a few in the lobby. There is some great looking, though tricky lighting in the lobby. I love this shot next to the big painting.
Seeing each other for the first time. Both were students at UW, which is where this whole thing started 🙂 So we took a few pictures there as well. We ran into 3 other wedding parties while shooting. After I chased them off by swinging my mono pod wildly in the air (remember the scene in Sideways on the Golf Course), we were able to shoot a few in peace. I guess there are a lot of UW couples out there.
*The part about the mono pod may or may not have actually happened. I’ve been wanting more exciting headlines on my blog, so maybe that just took place in my head…….. It was definitely something that crossed my mind though 🙂
Everyone waiting for the big exit outside the University Presbyterian Church. I love shots like this were people are all squished together. You are able to capture so many expressions and people in one shot.
The big exit.
The Reception took place at Broadmoor Golf Club. Nice view huh. I would say this view of the course from the club house is one of the nicest I have ever seen. And I’ve been to almost all the golf clubs in the Seattle area.
This shots cracks me up. The bar tender announced that the bar would be closing at a certain time after dinner was served, so the wedding party wisely planned ahead and may have made a few extra trips to the bar. This two handed toast (notice there are still more glasses on the table) is proof.
The first dance.
